Officials stated that troops responded promptly, resulting in casualties among the militants, while others reportedly fled after their hideouts and compounds were destroyed. The military has reiterated its resolve to continue operations until security objectives are fully achieved.

The development follows repeated calls by Pakistan for authorities in Afghanistan to take action against militant groups allegedly operating from their territory. Despite diplomatic engagement, officials say attacks targeting security personnel and civilians have persisted, contributing to ongoing tensions along the border.
