“May Allah Almighty be our protector and supporter. Ameen,” COAS said.
ISLAMABAD: In a powerful address, the Pakistan Army Chief emphasized the country’s unwavering commitment to a just resolution of the Palestinian dispute, underscoring the inevitability of a two-state solution. He highlighted the necessity of an independent, sovereign, and viable State of Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital, along the pre-1967 borders.
The Army Chief expressed confidence that Pakistan’s diplomatic, economic, and military achievements will, God willing, elevate the nation to new heights of progress. He reminded the audience that despite ongoing challenges and threats, Pakistan’s resolve and courage remain strong and steadfast.
Addressing the new officers, the Chief reiterated the army’s dedication to the development, prosperity, and defense of Pakistan, both ideologically and geographically. Drawing inspiration from verse 4 of Surah As-Saff, he said, “Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His way in ranks, as if they were a solid wall of steel.”

Referring to the historic guidance of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in January 1948, the Army Chief stressed the importance of unity, service, and sacrifice to make Pakistan a glorious and sovereign state.
He further noted that victory is earned through rigorous training, strong character, and steadfastness in the face of adversity. Officers were urged to focus on professional expertise, discipline, and moral leadership as the hallmarks of their service.
The Chief also cautioned against falling victim to misinformation and fake news in today’s post-truth era, emphasizing the importance of discerning fact from perception.
Concluding his message, the Army Chief called on all Pakistanis to face challenges with courage and determination, assuring that the flag of Pakistan will continue to fly high as long as its people remain vigilant and committed.
He congratulated the newly commissioned officers and prayed for Allah’s protection and support for the nation.
“May Allah Almighty be our protector and supporter. Ameen,” he said.
