Pakistan Announces 15-Member Women’s Squad for Ireland T20I Series
Before their departure for Ireland, the squad will undergo a pre-series training camp in Karachi.
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 15-member national women’s squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Ireland. The matches will be held in Dublin from August 6 to 10.
All-rounder Fatima Sana has been appointed captain for the series, marking a significant leadership role for the young cricketer. Among the notable inclusions is Eyman Fatima, who represented Pakistan in the 2023 ICC Women’s U19 World Cup and now earns her call-up to the senior side.
The squad was selected by the Women’s National Selection Committee from a pool of 24 players who recently took part in the Women’s Skills Camp.
Before their departure for Ireland, the squad will undergo a pre-series training camp in Karachi.
