
Pakistan, Afghanistan, UAE Set for T20I Tri-Series Showdown
All eyes will be on Pakistan and Afghanistan as they clash in the opening game of the T20I tri-series on August 29.
Islamabad—(Sports Reporter)— From August 29 to September 7, Pakistan will compete in a T20I tri-series alongside Afghanistan and the UAE at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The event will act as a warm-up opportunity for all three sides ahead of the ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup, set to begin in the UAE on September 9.
Pakistan Clinch 14-Run Victory Over West Indies in Series Opener
The opening match of the tri-series tournament will be played between Afghanistan and Pakistan on Friday, 29 August, with the first ball to bowled at 7pm local time.
Each team will play the others twice, giving all sides at least four matches before the top two teams qualify for the final, scheduled on 7 September.

30 August – UAE v Pakistan – 7pm local time
1 September – UAE v Afghanistan – 7pm local time
