RAWALPINDI: In a successful intelligence-based operation on Wednesday, Pakistan Army neutralized thirteen militants linked to Indian-sponsored terrorist group Fitna al Khwarij in the Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan District.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces acted on credible intelligence about the presence of these militants in the region. During the operation, troops engaged the militants, resulting in the elimination of thirteen terrorists who were involved in several violent activities, including a suicide bombing in Daraban in December 2023, kidnappings, and targeted killings of government officials and civilians.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the militants killed during the raid. The army is continuing sanitization efforts in the area to root out any remaining militants linked to the Indian proxy group.
This operation highlights Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating Indian-sponsored terrorism and ensuring the security and stability of the region.
