Over 24,000 Retailers Registered with FBR’s Tajir Dost App in Just 2 Months
FBR officials noted Lahore’s fervent participation, with 7,297 businessmen leading the charge in registrations.
ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has reported that more than 24,000 retailers have swiftly registered through the Tajir Dost App within a mere two-month span.
From April to June 3, a total of 23,497 traders enthusiastically joined the registration drive across six major cities nationwide. Among them, a staggering 19,463 traders have embraced the convenience of the Tajir Dost app.
The enthusiasm for formalization extended beyond the digital realm, with an additional 4,654 traders signing up outside the Tajir Dost scheme.

FBR officials noted Lahore’s fervent participation, with 7,297 businessmen leading the charge in registrations. Karachi and Rawalpindi closely followed suit, with 5,599 and 3,067 traders respectively, joining the formalization drive.
The capital, Islamabad, proudly contributed 2,153 registered traders, while Peshawar boasted 2,037 newly enlisted businesses.
In a display of nationwide engagement, Quetta and various other cities combined to add 1,317 and 2,027 traders respectively, to the burgeoning roster.
The collective efforts culminated in a formidable count of 21,470 traders from the six major cities, marking a significant step forward in formalizing Pakistan’s retail landscape.
