Opposition takes firm stance on security briefing today

PTI Chairman Gohar urges Parliament briefing on national security, highlighting sidelining of leadership and ongoing regional tensions.

Chairman Barrister Gohar – (Web Desk) – PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar stated that the opposition has taken a principled stand, insisting that a national security briefing should be held in Parliament. Speaking to reporters outside Parliament House, he said, “We wanted updates on Afghanistan and the Iran-US tensions in a joint session of Parliament.”

He also raised concerns about being sidelined, asking, “How long will we continue to be ignored? Our presence in Parliament is not being acknowledged.” Barrister Gohar further highlighted restrictions on PTI leadership, saying, “We are not allowed to meet PTI founder or his family, and Imran Khan has not been given permission to be examined by his personal doctors.”

“Your attitude is very strict and then you ask him to come and sit with you for a photo session? That will not happen”, PTI Chairman added.

He said Maulana Fazl gave him a message to attend the Prime Minister’s briefing.
