Opposition Rally to Push for Constitutional, Democratic Reforms
Islamabad – The opposition alliance has announced plans to hold a public rally in the capital on April 20, as part of its ongoing political campaign under the banner of “Tehreek Tahafuz Aain-e-Pakistan” (Movement for the Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan).
According to a statement issued by the alliance, the rally will be hosted by Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) and is scheduled to take place in Islamabad’s G-9 sector.
Prominent political figures, including Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai, former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, and senior leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), are expected to address the gathering.
The rally is expected to draw significant attention as opposition parties aim to press their demands for constitutional and democratic reforms amid the country’s evolving political landscape.
