Number of registered voters in Pakistan has exceeded 120 million

The voter lists will be used in the verification of nomination papers.

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has completed the work of printing the voter lists, and the number of voters in Pakistan has increased to over 120.75 million with an increase of over 20.20 million, as compared to the previous elections.

The ECP has said that the voter lists are being prepared according to the seats of each district and lists without photos will be sent to returning officers (ROs) in the first week of December.

The lists will be used in the verification of nomination papers.

The candidates will also get voter lists without photos for campaigning, while photographic voter lists will be handed over to election staff only and photographic voter lists will be sent to ROs in January.
