Nora Fatehi craze drives man to force wife’s daily training.

Indian – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk)- Bollywood star Nora Fatehi’s style and glamour have millions of admirers — but for one young woman in Uttar Pradesh, her husband’s obsession allegedly turned into a painful nightmare.

A 26-year-old woman from Muradnagar has accused her husband, a 28-year-old physical education teacher from Meerut, of forcing her into intense three-hour gym workouts every day so she could “look like” the actress.

According to her complaint, whenever she refused, he allegedly restricted her food to stop her from gaining weight.

Married in March this year, the woman told police that her husband often mocked her looks, saying his life was ruined because he could have married someone who resembled Nora Fatehi.

Despite her family reportedly spending nearly 75 lakhs on the wedding — including a Mahindra Scorpio, gold jewellery, and cash — the complaint says her in-laws continued to demand more dowry and harassed her constantly.

The woman further alleged that she became pregnant two months ago, but her husband tricked her into taking abortion pills. She soon suffered a miscarriage and was hospitalised.

Later in July, she claimed her in-laws barred her from entering the family home, leaving her stranded.

Police have filed an FIR against the husband and his parents under charges related to dowry harassment, forced abortion, and humiliation.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Dhawal Jaiswal confirmed the case, saying, “The investigation is underway, and all allegations are being verified.”
