CM Bugti Seeks Alternative Solutions for Balochistan"

Quetta-Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has reiterated that there’s no need for a military operation in the province. Speaking to media in Quetta, Bugti emphasized that Balochistan is a vast region that requires defense at all costs. He’s willing to resign if it would help put an end to terrorism.

“We have serious concerns over terrorism, and condemning the terrorist activities is not enough,” he said. “Tomorrow we will make efforts to reach consensus in assembly against terrorism,” he said.

Few days back, CM Bugti said that his government was looking to ensure good governance in Balochistan. Expressing his thoughts on the luncheon in Quetta, Bugti said: “All the political parties, forming the political parties, are on one page. We are looking forward to addressing the myriad problems faced by Balochistan through bilateral consultations.”

“The province is facing challenges pertaining to law and order, health, education, and the environment,” he said. “We are taking the allied parties on board in Balochistan.

Prominent among those who attended the event were Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Amir Muqam and Balochistan governor.
