No Communication Yet with Indian Foreign Minister, Says Atta Tarar
India did not dare to approach Pakistan’s coasts, he said.
ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar has stated that there has been no communication so far with the Indian Foreign Minister. He accused India of attempting to create a false narrative.
Speaking to the media after the burial of former Test cricketer Iqbal Qasim’s wife in the precincts of Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s shrine, Atta Tarar highlighted the active role of Samina Qasim in promoting Pakistan’s narrative.
He further mentioned that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and social media played a key role during the Pakistan-India conflict.
The minister said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is currently on visits to friendly countries. Throughout the conflict, Turkey stood by Pakistan as a model ally. Shehbaz Sharif will be visiting Iran and Azerbaijan soon. These friendly countries have supported Pakistan’s stance on the issue.
Atta Tarar added that Pakistan has been blessed with a magnificent victory, clearly demonstrating military superiority. The civilian and military leadership remain united and on the same page.
He praised the Pakistan Air Force, calling its pilots “Shaheens” (Eagles) for their remarkable achievements. India did not dare to approach Pakistan’s coasts.
The minister said that due to the preparedness of the Pakistan Navy, Karachi remained secure and the enemy could not inflict any damage. India had nothing to sell or negotiate with.

Atta Tarar emphasized the significant role social media played during the war. He praised Field Marshal Asim Munir for his courage and bravery and lauded the achievements of the Pakistan Air Force.
He reiterated that Turkey provided exemplary support throughout the conflict, with the Turkish President being a beloved friend of Pakistan. Pakistan’s grand victory was celebrated on the streets of Baku, Azerbaijan.
