LORALAI(News desk)Nine Punjab-Based Passengers Abducted, Killed in Loralai Terror Attack: Commissioner Confirms

In a tragic act of terrorism, nine passengers hailing from Punjab were brutally killed after being abducted by militants affiliated with the banned group Fitna-ul-Hindustan, officials confirmed on Thursday.
Loralai Commissioner Saadat Hussain stated that the incident occurred near the Dakai junction along the National Highway between Loralai and Musakhel. The victims were reportedly forced off a passenger bus, identified based on their regional identity, and taken away by armed attackers.
“After intercepting the bus, the gunmen separated passengers based on identity and abducted the victims. Their bodies have now been recovered,” the commissioner told the media.
Among the deceased were two brothers, Usman Toor and Jabir Toor, residents of Dunyapur. Both had been working in Quetta and were en route to their hometown to attend their father’s funeral.
This deadly attack follows a series of similar assaults in Kalat, Mastung, and Loralai, where militants targeted passenger vehicles, abducting multiple individuals.
In response, a large-scale search and rescue operation has been launched across the affected regions, according to a spokesperson for the Balochistan provincial government.
Confirming the attacks, Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind stated that the assaults took place on Wednesday. He noted that security forces responded swiftly and are fully engaged in efforts to apprehend the perpetrators.
“Our forces are on high alert and making every possible effort to protect citizens and recover any remaining abducted individuals,” Rind said. “Comprehensive operations are underway, and the safety of civilians remains our highest priority.”
