Nimra Khan Dodges Kidnapping Attempt in Harrowing Incident
Nimra Khan revealed that the terrifying incident happened the previous day while she was waiting outside a hotel for her car.
Pakistan: Nimra Khan reported that while she was waiting outside a hotel for her car, three armed men approached her and attempted to force her into their vehicle at gunpoint. Despite the perilous situation, she was able to resist and flee toward the pavement.
In a video she posted, Nimra shared her distress, pointing out that no one around her offered help during the attack. She disclosed that the armed men pursued her and could have potentially shot her. She only found safety after signaling a passing car, with assistance from the family inside and the hotel staff.
Reflecting on the incident, Nimra questioned the safety of women in Pakistan, asking, “If women aren’t safe in Pakistan, can we truly celebrate Pakistan Day? Can anyone honestly claim that their sister, wife, daughter, or mother is safe in this country? Sadly, the answer is no.”
The video has gone viral, garnering widespread sympathy from social media users and prompting calls for the authorities to apprehend the perpetrators. The incident has fueled outrage and calls for more robust measures to ensure the safety of women across the country.
