DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its updated T20 player rankings, with significant changes following recent performances.

According to details surfaced on Wednesday, New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy now leads the T20 bowling rankings, followed by England’s Adil Rashid in second place.

Pakistani bowlers showed marked improvement during the tri-nation series. Sufiyan Muqeem rose seven places to 15th, while Shaheen Afridi reached 22nd position.

Ahead of the high-voltage clash between Pakistan and India in the Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2025 clash, skipper Salman Ali Agha has made it clear that his team is fully prepared to face any intensity or aggression on the field.

It will be the first cricket match between the sides since four days of military conflict between the nuclear-armed neighbours in May this year.
