Islamabad_The federal government has announced a decrease in the prices of petroleum products for the fortnight starting November 16,
According to a notification, the price of petrol has been decreased by Rs 2.04 per litre while the rate of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been reduced by Rs6.47 per litre.
The cost of kerosene has been cut by Rs6.05 and Light-Diesel Oil by Rs9.01 per litre.
Earlier, sources had said that the price of diesel could be decreased by up to Rs8 while the price of petrol could be increased by Rs2 to Rs3. However, the government could keep both prices unchanged as well.
It is pertinent to mention that the government government kept the petrol and diesel prices unchanged, in the previous fortnightly revision.
