New Formula for Cricket Tournaments Will Apply to Future Events, says Naqvi
DUBAI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi on Saturday stated that any new formula devised for the upcoming Champions Trophy will also be applicable to future cricket tournaments.
Speaking to the media during his visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Naqvi emphasized that any decision regarding the formula would be based on equality between Pakistan and India. “If a new formula is proposed, it will not only be implemented for the Champions Trophy but will also apply to future events,” he said.
Naqvi reiterated that the PCB’s primary focus is to elevate the status of Pakistan cricket. “Pakistan comes first. We cannot accept one-sided affairs, and we must resolve the current stalemate for good,” he added.
