New Central Contracts Will Be Awarded Based on Fitness Test Performance

The Pakistan cricket team is set to undergo fitness evaluations this week as part of the process for granting new central contracts to players.

Sources reveal that the fitness assessments for centrally contracted players will take place on September 7 and 8 in Lahore. Players vying for these contracts are required to arrive in Lahore by September 6. This follows recent fitness tests for domestic players held in Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi just two days ago.

The central contracts will be awarded based on the results of these fitness tests, making this a pivotal moment for those hoping to secure their positions in the national team.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is determined to ensure that all contracted players meet the necessary fitness criteria as they gear up for upcoming international fixtures.
