Netherlands Ambassador Meets Finance Minister Aurangzeb to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Minister Aurangzeb shed light on Pakistan’s ongoing efforts towards structural reforms aimed at fostering economic growth and ensuring fiscal sustainability.

ISLAMABAD: In a bid to enhance collaboration and bolster bilateral relations between Pakistan and the Netherlands, Henny de Vries, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Pakistan, recently held a constructive meeting with Muhammad Aurangzeb, Minister for Finance and Revenue.

During the meeting, Ambassador de Vries and Minister Aurangzeb engaged in discussions centered around mutual interests and strategies to fortify the existing bonds between the two nations. The Minister warmly welcomed the Ambassador, expressing gratitude for the enduring friendship and cooperation shared between Pakistan and the Netherlands. He underscored the significance of their bilateral relationship, rooted in common values and a history of fruitful collaboration.

In response, Ambassador de Vries echoed similar sentiments, reaffirming the Netherlands’ commitment to deepening cooperation across various sectors with Pakistan. She commended the government’s proactive measures in implementing reforms to strengthen the country’s major economic and financial sectors.
