Mumbai (Web Desk) — Nepal cricket team defeated Scotland cricket team by seven wickets in a thrilling contest during the 33rd match of Group C in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup at Wankhede Stadium.
Batting first, Scotland posted 170 runs in 20 overs. Michael Jones starred with a brilliant 71 off 45 balls, supported by George Munshi (27) and Brendon McMillan (25). For Nepal, Sompal Kami claimed three wickets while Nandan Yadav took two.

Chasing 171, Nepal reached the target in 19.2 overs, losing three wickets. Kaushal Bhartitel contributed 43, Asif Sheikh scored 33, and captain Rohit Paudel added 16.
The standout performance came from Dipendra Singh Airee, who smashed an unbeaten 50 off just 23 balls to lead Nepal to victory, with Gulshan Jha also making a key contribution of 24 runs.
