Lahore: Hussain and Hassan Nawaz, sons of the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, have arrived in Lahore, according to private TV channels.
Nawaz Sharif personally welcomed his sons upon their arrival at the airport.
Both sons of the former Prime Minister have arrived in Lahore from London.
It is pertinent to mention that on March 7, the Accountability Court had suspended the permanent arrest warrants for Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz.
The court had postponed the permanent arrest warrants for the accused until March 14.

Hassan and Hussain Nawaz’s lawyer, Advocate Moazzam Qazi, had argued that they had been given a non-bailable arrest warrant, permanent warrants had been issued, other accused in the three references had been acquitted, and Hassan and Hussain Nawaz wanted to come to Pakistan and appear before the Accountability Court on March 12.
The Punjab government has made a decision to provide the highest level of protocol to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, according to sources.
Under the decision, the residence of Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif will be given the status of the Chief Minister’s House. Additionally, Nawaz Sharif will be provided with stringent security as the father of the former Prime Minister and Chief Minister.
According to sources, a DSP and multiple police officers will be appointed to Nawaz Sharif’s residence for security purposes.
