Nawaz Sharif condoles Pervez Musharraf’s death

President, PM express condolences over death of  Musharraf

LONDON/Islamabad – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif condoled on Sunday the death of former president Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf.

Mr Sharif took to Twitter to express his condolences on the death of Mr Musharraf.

Meanwhile, President Dr Arif Alvi also expressed his condolences on Mr Musharraf’s death. He also prayed for the high ranks of the departed soul and for the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude.Former army chief and president Pervez Musharraf died at the age of 79 in a private hospital in Dubai.The former general had been admitted to the American Hospital, Dubai. Mr Musharraf was admitted to Dubai hospitals more than once in the past. He had been facing a prolonged battle with the rare disease amyloidosis.The former military ruler was hospitalised for three weeks in June last year.

President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday expressed their condolences over the death of former president Gen. (retd) Pervez Musharraf.
The president and the prime minister also expressed their sympathies with the bereaved family, President Secretariat Press Wing and PM Office Media Wing, in their separate press releases said.
The president and prime minister also prayed for the high ranks of the departed soul and for the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude.The former president passed away in Dubai on Sunday morning where he was hospitalized due to a rare disease called amyloidosis.
Gen. (Retd) Pervez Musharraf, 79-year-old- had served as president of Pakistan during 2001 and 2008. Later, he founded the All Pakistan Muslim League in 2010.
