Naval Chief Reviews Operational Readiness in Creeks; New Hovercraft Inducted into Pak Marines
“We know how to defend our sovereignty and every inch of our maritime frontiers, from Sir Creek to Jiwani,” Admiral Ashraf said
Karachi — Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, visited forward posts in the Creeks Area to assess operational preparedness and combat readiness of the Pakistan Navy. During the visit, three state-of-the-art 2400 TD Hovercraft were officially inducted into the Pakistan Marines, marking a significant step in modernizing the Navy’s operational capabilities.
The newly inducted hovercraft can operate simultaneously over diverse terrains, including shallow waters, sand dunes, marshes, and boggy coastal zones, as well as areas unsuitable for conventional vessels. This dual land-and-sea capability enhances the Pak Marines’ operational edge and strengthens Pakistan Navy’s ability to respond effectively against potential threats.
Addressing officers and personnel, Admiral Ashraf said the induction of these advanced platforms reflects the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to modernization and its resolve to safeguard the country’s maritime frontiers, particularly the Creeks Area.

“We know how to defend our sovereignty and every inch of our maritime frontiers, from Sir Creek to Jiwani,” Admiral Ashraf said, reaffirming the Navy’s readiness and morale to protect Pakistan’s shores and maritime interests.
