Nationwide Anti-Polio Campaign to Begin February 2
Over 45 Million Children to Be Vaccinated Nationwide
ISLAMABAD – The first nationwide anti-polio campaign of 2026 will be carried out from February 2 to February 8 across 159 districts of the country, officials confirmed on Monday.
According to details released by the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC), more than 45 million children will be administered polio drops during the campaign. Over 400,000 male and female polio workers will take part in the drive to ensure maximum coverage.
NEOC urged parents to fully cooperate with vaccination teams and ensure timely immunization of their children. Officials stressed that all children from birth to 15 months must complete the prescribed immunization schedule without delay to remain protected against the virus.
