ISLAMABAD: Coordinator to the Prime Minister, Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan said on Sunday that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has always prioritized national interest above politics.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that it was very important for political leaders to come together for the greater good of the country.
“Consensus among political parties on all issues is crucial for the progress of democracy and the nation,” he added.
He said that the federal government is consulting with coalition partners and opposition parties about convening all parties’ conference (APC).
The APC would provide a platform for meaningful dialogue and consensus-building, he added.
Answering a question, he said that government was committed to provide relief to the underprivileged class.
