Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday visited the FC Headquarters during which he was briefed on the successful neutralization of terrorists during a terror attack on Monday.
He also inspected the site of the recent foiled attack by the extremist group Fitna al-Khawarij. During the briefing, officials detailed how the assault was successfully neutralized.
He paid tribute to the three brave constables who attained martyrdom, stating, “I salute the sacrifice of these heroes, who laid down their lives to thwart the terrorists’ nefarious plans.”
He praised the FC personnel for their valour, noting that the three suicide attackers were neutralized within three minutes. “The sacrifices of these martyrs will not go in vain. Their families will be treated with the same care as our own,” he added.
Highlighting the courage and selflessness of the fallen, Naqvi said, “The bravery with which you confronted Indian-sponsored terrorists is highly commendable. You set an immortal example of heroism, repelling the enemy’s attack.”
Earlier, the Interior Minister visited the memorial of the martyrs, offering flowers and reciting prayers in their honour.
