Naqvi Promises Swift Action on Overseas Property Disputes
Mohsin Naqvi Assures Overseas Pakistanis Protection Against Qabza
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has reassured overseas Pakistanis that complaints related to qabza or illegal occupation of their properties will be addressed within a clearly defined timeframe.
In a message shared on social media platform X, Naqvi said the government is fully committed to protecting the property rights of Pakistanis living abroad. He stated that no individual would be allowed to unlawfully occupy legally owned property and that any complaint regarding land grabbing in Islamabad would be decided by the Deputy Commissioner within seven days.

The interior minister stressed that action in such cases would be swift transparent and fair. He also welcomed investment by overseas Pakistanis in the Islamabad Capital Territory and assured them of a secure and investor-friendly environment. Naqvi reiterated that overseas Pakistanis should promptly report any illegal occupation and reaffirmed the government’s resolve to safeguard their assets.
