Pakistan & US – (Web Desk) – The United States on Thursday applauded Pakistan’s remarkable diplomatic efforts that helped bring about a ceasefire in the Gulf region, as Islamabad simultaneously put together a solid security plan to protect visiting foreign dignitaries.
During a meeting in Islamabad, US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker told Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi that Pakistan’s wholehearted commitment to brokering peace in the region truly deserved recognition and appreciation.
Both sides warmly welcomed the pause in hostilities. The two officials also sat down for an in-depth conversation about the current situation unfolding in the Middle East, as well as the preparations underway to host crucial peace talks between the United States and Iran right here in Islamabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that US Vice-President JD Vance, special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner would be Pakistan’s special guests.

He told Natalie that a comprehensive plan had been drawn up to provide foolproof security to all foreign dignitaries.
