Nadeem Naniwala Freed After Court Clears Him of Fake Number Plate Allegations
A Lahore Cantt court has cleared prominent TikToker Nadeem Mubarak, popularly known as Nadeem Naniwala, of charges related to the alleged use of an illegal number plate on his vehicle.
The court ruled in Naniwala’s favor, citing a lack of sufficient evidence to uphold the allegations. The ruling pointed out that the key recovery statement, which was critical to proving the charges, was missing from the case file.
Consequently, the court ordered Nadeem Naniwala’s release and rejected the police’s request for a 14-day judicial remand. Authorities had sought to keep Mubarak in custody for further investigation, but the judicial magistrate denied their request.
Nadeem was initially charged by Defense C police. On Tuesday, Lahore police arrested the TikToker for allegedly using a fake number plate during a routine check at a police checkpoint on Main Boulevard, according to a police official.
