NAB started investigation into alleged corruption in Peshawar BRT 

Islamabad: (Staff Reporter) the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has started an investigation into alleged corruption in Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Peshawar. 

According to sources, Nab has initiated graft proceedings over alleged financial and administrative irregularities in the Peshawar BRT project

In this regard, the anti-graft body summoned former Peshawar Development Authority DG Muhammad Saleem Watto on October 17 in the corruption reference. 

According to the notice, Salim Watto will be investigated for alleged corruption in the project. 

The notice further stated that Saleem Watto made several agreements related to the project as Chairman of the Technical and Evaluation Committee.

In case of non-appearance on October 17, NAB reserves the right to take action
