NAB show in the American city of Las Vegas
Nearly 200 exhibitors showcased AI/machine learning tools and tech, while more than 150 sessions featured AI.
Las Vegas (Muhammad Asif): This year’s NAB show in the American city of Las Vegas has come to an end after success. Launched and showcased thousands of new products and next-generation technologies from brands including , Microsoft, NVIDIA, Sony and Verizon Business. Nearly 200 exhibitors showcased AI/machine learning tools and tech, while more than 150 sessions featured AI. The NAB Show, on the other hand, featured hundreds of exhibitors, including a new show floor area for the creative economy; Also included were around 100 sessions on the creative economy.
This year, 54 percent of the more than 61,000 expected registered attendees experienced the event for the first time, given the growing presence of the broadcast, media and entertainment industry. More than a quarter of attendees (27 percent, up 2 percent from last year) were international, representing 163 countries and including 34 trade delegations from around the world. For the first time, ten delegations from Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, Oceania and Central Asia participated. Additionally, the NAB Show presented its first Spanish-language session, A Case Study of Caliente TV’s Studio Build and the Latin America Broadcast Market.
The show also hosted five international pavilions with exhibitors from Germany, France, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Korea and Belgium. Executive Vice President and Managing Director, NAB “Shokiran Chapka” said, “We were surprised to see more than half of our attendees experience the NAB Show for the first time this year. The floor at the start of the show was buzzing with innovation as nearly 1,300 exhibitors from 41 countries Exhibitors exhibited and unveiled. Products and technologies From AI-powered production tools to immersive virtual reality experiences to the latest tech for broadcast and delivery and everything in between, the emerging landscape of media creation from early-stage startups Shown by companies ranging from powerhouse brands. More than 200 exhibitors participated in the show for the first time.

In addition to cutting-edge equipment and technology, the conference programs included insightful talks and presentations from industry veterans and rising stars. More than 1,050 leaders from across the content ecosystem spoke in more than 750 sessions on the rise of streaming platforms, creative AI and its impact on the industry, and the changing media landscape. Speakers include Francis Brock, Chairman, NBC Universal Entertainment, Terry Crews, host of America’s Got Talent, Jennifer Hudson, EGO winner, entertainment icon and host of The Jennifer Hudson Show, and Phil Weiser, EVP, C. T and Paramount included heads of multi-platform operations. In response to the growing creator economy, the NAB Show launched the Creator Lab, sponsored by Blackmagic Design, and expanded the show’s programming to bring more important creators to share their insights with the next generation.
On the other hand, the second round of the NAB Show this year will be held in New York on October 9 and 10, 2024, while the planning for the NAB Show in Las Vegas next year from April 5 to 9, 2025 has already started.
