Mysterious Disease Claims Third Life in Layyah; Rising Concern Among Locals

Authorities are continuing investigations into both incidents.

LAYYAH:A mysterious disease continues to grip the city of Layyah with fear, claiming the life of another child on Saturday and raising the death toll to three. The latest victim, a young girl from Mohallah Nawan Kot, was under treatment at Nishtar Hospital in Multan before succumbing to the illness.

This tragic incident follows the deaths of two children from the same family earlier this week, sparking panic among parents and local residents. Medical sources confirmed that four more children infected with the unidentified disease have been admitted to various hospitals in Multan, as health authorities scramble to determine the cause.

The wave of child fatalities has led to growing concern in the community, prompting calls for urgent investigation and intervention by health officials.
