CM Sindh Murad Shah Highlights Pakistan Defense Strength During Marka-e-Haq Anniversary Ceremony

KARACHI: (Web Desk)- Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah stated that Marka-e-Haq reflects Pakistan’s courage, strength, and defensive capability, recalling how the country’s armed forces successfully responded to a much larger adversary a year ago. Speaking during a ceremony held at Sea View in Karachi on Saturday to mark the anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, he said Pakistan’s strong defense system is the result of decades of sacrifices and strategic planning led by the Pakistan Peoples Party.

The chief minister said Zulfikar Ali Bhutto strengthened the country’s defense foundations by initiating Pakistan’s nuclear program after the separation of Dhaka. He added that Benazir Bhutto modernized the nation’s missile program and aligned defense capabilities with evolving global requirements.

Murad Shah further highlighted that the induction of Hangor Class submarine under the leadership of Asif Ali Zardari would significantly enhance Pakistan’s maritime security. He also praised Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for consistently advocating Pakistan’s sovereignty and defense interests at international forums.

The Sindh chief minister said the nation remains firmly united with its armed forces like a solid wall. He praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force, and Pakistan Navy, calling the sacrifices of martyrs a matter of national pride. According to him, a powerful defense depends not only on secure borders but also on political harmony, economic stability, and national unity. He added that the massive public participation at Sea View demonstrated the people’s unwavering support for the country’s martyrs and armed forces.
