Multan Sultans Defeat Peshawar Zalmi to Reach Final in PSL 9

Lahore (Ch Mudassar Iqbal) In the playoffs of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9, Multan Sultans secured their spot in the final by defeating Peshawar Zalmi by 7 wickets. Multan Sultans chased down Peshawar Zalmi’s target of 147 runs in the 19th over with the loss of 3 wickets, with Yasir Khan shining with a score of 54 runs. Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi had scored 146 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to bat first. From the Peshawar Zalmi side, Saimee Ayub scored 1 run, Mohammad Haris scored 22 runs, and Hasibullah Khan scored 3 runs before being dismissed. Babar Azam scored 46, Tom Kohler-Cadmore scored 24, Rovman Powell scored 12, and Amir Jamal scored one run before being bowled out.
