Sultans dominate Rawalpindi, win PSL 11 clash convincingly

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – In a thrilling contest of Pakistan Super League 11, Multan Sultans defeated Rawalpindi by 7 wickets in Lahore. Multan won the toss and chose to field first.

Batting first, Rawalpindi posted a competitive total of 182/8 in 20 overs. Sam Billings starred with an unbeaten 56, while Kamran Ghulam contributed 35 and Diane Forrester added 24 runs. Multan’s bowlers impressed, with spinner Faisal Akram taking 4 wickets and Arafat Minhas claiming 2 wickets.

Chasing 183, Multan Sultans reached the target in 17 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Opener Sahibzada Farhan top-scored with 68 runs, complemented by Josh Phillippe’s 56. Shan Masood and Ashton Turner remained unbeaten on 27 and 26, respectively, sealing a comfortable victory for Multan.
