Monkeypox detected in traveler arriving from Saudi at Karachi airport
The provincial government has shifted the patient to the Sindh Infectious Diseases Hospital.
KARACHI: A passenger travelling to Karachi from Saudi Arabia via a private airline tested positive for monkeypox.
According to details surfaced on Wednesday, the airport sources said that the screening process of the passenger was monitored at the Karachi airport, it was confirmed that he contacted the mpox.

During the screening, the passenger was suffering from fever. The passenger had also confirmed that he had been suffering from the continuous fever for five days.
The provincial government has shifted the patient to the Sindh Infectious Diseases Hospital.
