Lahore: Former Pakistan cricketer and batting coach Mohammad Yousuf has officially resigned from his position at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), according to sources within the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Yousuf, who had been serving as a key batting coach under the PCB setup, reportedly submitted his resignation citing personal commitments. He was also involved in the national team’s coaching staff during Pakistan’s recent tour of New Zealand.
While the PCB has not yet released an official statement, sources suggest that Yousuf’s departure is voluntary and not linked to any performance-related concerns.
Mohammad Yousuf, one of Pakistan’s most accomplished batsmen, has been associated with player development and mentoring roles in recent years, earning respect for his calm demeanor and deep understanding of the game.
