Mobile health units provided in flood-affected areas of Sindh, Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore: (Staff Reporter) Punjab government has sent two mobile health units to the flood-affected areas of Sindh for the aid of victims while taking another good step to promote inter-provincial harmony.

The health department has dispatched medical teams and medicines for the relief mission to the flood victims of Sindh on the directions of the Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.

Furthermore the mobile health units were sent to the calamity hit areas in district Khairpur and Qambar Shahdadkot.

In this regard, Punjab CM said that the Punjab government stands with the flood victims of Sindh and other provinces.

According to the source, he said that 296 doctors and nine trucks of medicines were also sent to Sindh and Baluchistan under the spirit of goodwill, adding that the Medical Mission of the Punjab Government has even set up medical camps in the affected areas of Sindh and Baluchistan.

“Punjab is playing the role of big brother very well,” said Pervaiz Elahi.
