SYDNEY: Australia’s cricket team has received both good and bad news ahead of the Ashes series. Head coach Andrew McDonald confirmed that fast bowler Josh Hazlewood will miss the remainder of the Ashes series due to injury, while captain Pat Cummins is set to return for the Adelaide Test.

Cummins will play his first Test in five months and is expected to be as prepared as possible for the match, despite not featuring in any lead-up games. Hazlewood, struggling with a heel muscle injury following a hamstring problem, will be sidelined for the rest of the series.
