Minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada Launches PHAF Digital Services for Transparent Housing
Digital Shift to Ensure Transparency, Curb Misinformation: Minister Pirzada
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Housing and Works, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, officially launched a comprehensive suite of digital services introduced by the Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation (PHAF), aimed at improving service delivery for members and allottees. The launch event was attended by Secretary Housing and Works Dr. Shahzad Khan Bangash, PHAF officials, and representatives of the National Police Foundation, a key collaborator in the initiative.
The new digital services package includes the PHAF Digital Portal and the PHAF Maintenance Services Portal, both developed to increase transparency, accessibility, and efficiency—especially for overseas Pakistanis and prospective investors in future housing projects.
Managing Director of PHAF presented the features of the new system, emphasizing that digitalizing fund transfers and recordkeeping will establish a robust database to enable faster and more informed decision-making.

The PHAF Maintenance Services Portal offers:

A revamped PHAF official website has also been launched to serve as a centralized hub for all public information, enhancing transparency and user convenience.
Minister Pirzada applauded the PHAF team for their efforts and stressed that the transition from conventional methods to modern digital platforms aligns with the government’s broader goals of digital transformation and e-governance.

“This transition will not only facilitate local and overseas citizens but also counter misinformation by ensuring accurate, real-time data availability,” the Minister stated. He further called on all housing institutions to adopt digital, merit-based systems to ensure efficiency and uphold institutional integrity.
Secretary Bangash echoed the sentiment, highlighting the importance of such reforms in improving public service delivery and fostering citizen trust.
