A Look at the Recent Rise in Violence

Pakistan -(Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – Pakistan experienced a very dangerous rise in violence during August. A new report shows it was the most violent month in over ten years. Attacks by militant groups jumped by 74% from July.

This surge caused terrible loss of life. Nearly 300 people died in the fighting last month. This includes security forces, civilians, and militants. Many more were injured or kidnapped.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region was hit the hardest, seeing more attacks than anywhere else. Security forces fought back strongly, but the situation remains serious across the country.
