Grammy-winning artist Arooj Aftab has submitted her Raat Ki Rani (Khruangbin Remix) for the Best Remixed Recording category.

KARACHI – Pakistani music icons Meesha Shafi and Arooj Aftab are aiming for global acclaim as they officially submit their latest musical works for consideration at the prestigious Grammy Awards.

Meesha Shafi has entered her debut solo album Khilnay Ko in three key categories: Best Global Music Album, Best Global Music Performance, and Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical). The 47-minute, 11-track project marks a deeply personal and artistic evolution for Shafi, blending ethereal soundscapes, introspective poetry, and emotionally resonant themes. The album has been praised for inviting listeners to explore themes of grief, resilience, and inner transformation.

Meanwhile, Grammy-winning artist Arooj Aftab has submitted her Raat Ki Rani (Khruangbin Remix) for the Best Remixed Recording category.
