Media dues to be cleared within days, AGPR

Islamabad – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – Accountant General Pakistan Revenue (AGPR) Nisar Ahmed Cheema met with Executive Director General/Principal Information Officer (EDG/PIO) Raisa Adil at PID.

During the meeting, he apprised them of the progress made in the process related to media payments and assured them that AGPR is fully committed to providing all possible support to release payments to media houses as soon as possible and on time.
The EDG/PIO welcomed the visit and appreciated the ongoing mutual cooperation between PID and AGPR to make the process of media payments smooth and timely.

Nisar Ahmed Cheema also visited the Sub-Office (SOC) of the Press Information Department (PID) Islamabad to review the ongoing process of payments to media houses and facilitate their speedy processing.

During the visit, Nisar Ahmed Cheema appreciated the effective coordination of the officers and officials of SOC, PID and their exceptional services in expediting the process of payments to media houses as per the instructions of the competent authority.

He also acknowledged the efforts of the SOC team due to which the payment process was completed efficiently and within the stipulated time frame.

He also appreciated the cooperation and coordination of all the concerned officers and staff to facilitate timely disbursement of media payments.

The visit provided an opportunity to review the latest status of the payment process and further strengthen the institutional coordination between PID and AGPR for timely payment of media dues.
