Patuki: A severe measles outbreak has tragically claimed the lives of six children in Patuki and its surrounding suburbs over the past five days. An additional six children remain in critical condition, sparking widespread concern among local residents.

In response to the growing public outcry on social media, District Health Officer (DHO) Kasur and Deputy District Health Officer (DDHO) Patuki, along with a team from Thatta Kamiana, have arrived in the affected area to address the crisis. They are implementing necessary measures to control the outbreak and provide adequate medical care.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of these young lives,” stated DHO Kasur. “Our team is working tirelessly to ensure that all affected children receive the best possible care and to prevent further spread of the disease.”
