MDCAT Exam Underway Amidst Tight Security
Islamabad-The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) is currently taking place across Pakistan, with exam centers set up in 30 cities, including two international centers in Riyadh and Dubai ¹. To ensure the exam’s integrity, Section 144 has been imposed around exam centers, prohibiting public gatherings and electronic device usage ¹. Mobile phone services have also been partially suspended in certain areas.
Security Measures
Assistant Commissioner of Islamabad, Irfan Memon, emphasized the importance of strict surveillance at exam centers ¹. The Deputy Commissioner instructed all Assistant Commissioners to visit exam centers and take action against unauthorized individuals ¹. At NUST University, the Assistant Commissioner identified 11 students using electronic devices and reviewed exam room arrangements and security measures.
