Massive fire engulfs Islamabad cotton factory, causing damage
Fire tears through Madina Colony factory as crews fight flames for hours. No lives lost. Cause still unknown.
Islamabad – (Web Desk) – A massive fire erupted in a cotton factory in Islamabad. The cotton factory is located in Madina Colony of Islamabad.
Soon after receiving the report, emergency vehicles rushed to the spot and started a firefighting operation to bring the fire under control.
Earlier, on February 10, 2026, a major fire that erupted at a factory in the Rawat Industrial Area near Rawalpindi was brought under control after hours of intense firefighting.
Fire tore through an industrial unit in Rawat on Tuesday. Emergency crews responded quickly and threw everything they had at it. At one point 19 fire tenders were working the scene at the same time.
But the fire pushed back. Crews had to call in backup. The battle went on for more than 16 hours. Firefighters used water and foam together to slowly bring the flames down.

The fire is now under control. Cooling work is still going on. No casualties have been reported so far. Investigators are still trying to figure out what started it.
