Mass Repatriation Effort: Over 474,000 Illegal Afghan Residents Return from Pakistan

In a concerted effort to address the issue of illegal Afghan residents in Pakistan, a significant repatriation process is currently underway. As of January 23, 2024, an impressive 474,264 individuals have returned to Afghanistan through this initiative.

On the specified date, 708 Afghan citizens, consisting of 194 men, 156 women, and 358 children, made the journey back to their homeland from Pakistan. The repatriation operation was facilitated by 73 vehicles, ensuring the safe return of 96 families to Afghanistan.
