Punjab CM Directs Early Completion of Major Healthcare Projects

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed the accelerated completion of key healthcare projects across the province. She has set strict deadlines for new hospitals, including the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital and the Nawaz Sharif Cardiology Institute in Sargodha.

In Lahore, she has ordered that the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital and Jinnah Cardiology Institute become operational within the current month. The basement and ground floor of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research are complete, along with patient waiting areas, a mosque, and residential facilities for doctors.

Recruitment of doctors and staff for the institute has already begun. Maryam Nawaz also instructed that construction at Lady Willingdon Hospital be finished promptly. The CM emphasized that the Nawaz Sharif Institute will provide advanced cancer treatment to patients from across Pakistan.
