Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb said that the government will play its role in solving the problems of the artists of the twin cities, where the rights of the artists were lost in the previous regime, it will be remedied.
Aasma Butt, the famous director and producer of film, stage and TV, who raised her voice for the rights of artists, and the artists of the twin cities thanked to the federal government and the Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb for the film finance fund in the budget of the next financial year 2 billion and allocating Rs.1 billion for health insurance for artists.They said that Maryam Aurangzeb has become the voice of artists.Real leadership is the one who understands public problems and plays a key role in solving them.
This was said by the well-known director and producer Aasma Butt on the occasion of the meeting with Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb yesterday at Islamabad National Press Club.Aasma Butt presented a bouquet of flowers to Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb and thanked for her efforts.
Aasma Butt mentioned to the Federal Minister about the disfavor done to the artist community during the previous regime.On which Federal Minister Maryam Aurangzeb assured to solve the problems of the artists and to redress the rights of the artist during the previous regime.
Aasma Butt said that Maryam Aurangzeb is our faith. She belongs to Potohar region. We believe that being associated with the same region and political background , she will prove a strong pillar for the bright future of artists.
On this occasion, artists from the twin cities thanked Federal Minister Maryam Aurangzeb as well as Aasma Butt and said that Aasma Butt has always been the voice of artists. She played a significant role in highlighting the problems of artists. All of us artists are very grateful to her.
