Islamabad: (Staff Reporter) Actress Masha Pasha said that people from all walks of life including showbiz personalities need to step forward to help the flood victims in these testing times.
She urged people to play this due role in this hour of crisis. The actress requested others to donate to flood-stricken people.
Furthermore she said that at times when society is divided into different factions, there is the need of the hour to get everyone on the same page to ameliorate the sufferings of victims aggravated by deadly floodwaters.
According to the NDMA data, over 1500 people were killed by the deadly floods, and one-third of the country is under floodwaters. The authorities made national and international appeals to show support for the victims of the deadly monsoon.
PM Shehbaz Sharif also made an urgent appeal to philanthropists to come forward and donate warm clothes to flood-affected areas.
